ljubljana je bila danes neverjetno lepa, kot mlada deklica, ki se v prvem poletnem dnevu nalispa in si oblece poletno obleko, da jo vsi obcudujejo. iz hise sem se odpravila zjutraj na najdaljso stojnico rabljenih knjig za en evro (soncno junijsko jutro, skoraj praznicno opravljena stara ljubljana in knjige po en evro. ce bi si omislila svoj osebni paradiz, bi bil zelo podoben temu). na stojnici sem najdla najlepso artnouveausko knjigo o ljubezenski liriki starih grkov in ceprav je v nemscini, se nisem mogla upreti njenim ilustracijam in starinski pisavi.
poseben posladek za ucke sem dobila na stojnicah z rocnimi izdelki, kjer clovek lahko kar izsusi ljubljanico od vzdihovanja. in ker si seveda nisem mogla vsega kupiti sem poskrbela da vsaj delcek vse te "luskanarije" prinesem s sabo domov.
today ljubljana was fairy, just like a young lady wearing a summer outfit and made up to make everyone stare at her. this morning i went to the longest second-hand book stand (sunny morning, fairy old town and all book on sale for 1 euro. if i’d have to think of my own paradise, that would be very close). this is where i found the most beautifull art nouveau book about love lyrics of the ancient greeks, and even though it was in german, i couldn’t resist to its illustrations and ancient fonts.
there were also stands with hand made articles, where people.could indeed dry the ljubljanica river out, deep breathing before the sight of hand-made manufacts. of course i couldn’t buy everything, so i had to make sure to bring home at least a little piece of all these wonders.
